Today is the first day of re-imposed modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) in Metro Manila from August 4 to 18. All mass transport is suspended, some businesses are closed and quarantine pass or ID for work is required again of people who go outside their homes.
Metro Manila was under strict militarized quarantine from March 15 up to end of May, then shifted to general community quarantine on June 1.
