Thousands came to protest and commemorate the 157th birth anniversary of revolutionary Andres Bonifacio. Workers and labor unions, farmers, fishermen, urban poor, jeepney drivers, youth and political groups joined the rally in UP Diliman.

Many were dressed in Katipunero garb, wore red, armed with placards fashioned as bolo knives with calls written on them, raised fists and the resolve that while oppression persists in the country, so will the spirit and the struggle, the unfinished revolution of Bonifacio and the Katipunan.
