In a historic event, 40,000 gathered in Davao City on Tuesday to remember martyred New People’s Army (NPA) Commander Leoncio “Ka Parago” Pitao a year after his death. The rally was also in support of the upcoming peace talks between the Government of the Republic of the Philippines (GPH) and revolutionary forces represented by the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP).
