For the 9th consecutive day in a row after Congress rejected ABS-CBN’s franchise bid, another noise barrage was held in front of the network’s Sgt. Esguerra gate.
Employees and celebrities of the network joined the protest.
Supporters – groups and individuals – also joined the network’s call against shutdown, for renewal of franchise and the defense of press freedom.
The noise barrage was the last stop in a protest caravan that travelled on two different routes: one starting in Makati and the other in Manila.
