Around 3,000 indigenous peoples and Moro from the different parts of the country arrive in Metro Manila on Thursday after several days of travel to converge and unite for the first time to amplify their call for self-determination and just and lasting peace. The groups were welcomed by students and progressive organizations.
The convergence dubbed as ‘Lakbayan ng Pambansang Minorya para sa Sariling Pagpapasya at Makatarungang Kapayapaan’ will camp out in UP Diliman grounds until October 21.
