Nurses remain to have most numbers confirmed positive for COVID-19 among health care workers at 853, followed by physicians at 670 and non medical staff at 294. Infected nursing assistants number to 144, medical technologists at 86, radiologic technologist at 43. The total of the break down is only 2,090, as opposed to 2,336 health workers confirmed positive by DOH as of May 21.
“Nitong mga nakaraang araw ay paunti na nang paunti ang nakikita nating health care workers na nagpopositibo,” Department of Health (DOH) Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire has been saying in her press briefing since May 6.
