The Department of Health (DOH) Situationer Report with data as of July 29 recorded 65 new confirmed COVID-19 cases among health care workers, bringing the total cases to 4,796 or 5.6% of the cases in the country.
One new death was also recorded on July 29. The last death before this was recorded on July 22.
The total number of confirmed cases is at 85,486, but those who have tested positive have reached 126,484; the difference that the Health agency needs to validate has ballooned to 40,998.
