238 new COVID-19 cases among health workers in 7 days, total at 3,360 by June 27

From June 20 to 27, there were 238 new COVID-19 cases among health workers. The DOH only give more detailed reports on the cases among health workers every Sunday, unlike the previous daily reports during weekdays.

One of 10 COVID-19 cases in the country are health workers. Of the 34,807 Department of Health (DOH)-confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country by June 27, 3360 of them are health workers.

Nurses still top the health workers who got infected with COVID-19, now at 1,207, while physicians who got COVID-19 are at 842.

Almost one of every four COVID-19 cases among health workers are active cases.

Deaths have remained at 33 since June 10.
