The Department of Health logs 2,270 additional new COVID-19 cases in Metro Manila, raising a total of 1,136,742 cases; 49,283 total active cases, 7,358 recoveries and 15 deaths as of today, January 27, 2022.
Quezon City continues to lead as the city with the highest confirmed cases, listing an additional 467 new cases. The city gains a total of 237,445 confirmed cases, 9,776 active cases, 225,312 recoveries and a total of 2, 357 deaths throughout the start of the pandemic, having an average of 94.9% recovery rate and 1.0% fatality rate.
Today, the country records an additional 18,191 new COVID-19 cases, 21,971 new recoveries and 72 new deaths listing a total of 226,521 active cases. Throughout the pandemic, the country logged 3,493,447 total cases, 3,213,190 total recoveries and 53,736 total cases.
