Meanwhile, Metro Manila recorded 2,256 new additional cases, with 47,741 active cases and a total number of 1,138,749 confirmed cases.
In the recent data from the Department of Health COVID-19 Tracker, Quezon City continues to lead as the top city in Metro Manila with the highest confirmed cases, listing a total number of 421 new additional cases and 9,324 active cases with an average 95.1% recovery rate and 1.0% fatality rate.
The Philippines now has 3,511,491 total COVID-19 cases, 3,226,032 total recoveries, and 53,801 total deaths throughout the pandemic.
