On the occasion of the 121st Independence Day of the Philippines, protesters march to US Embassy in Manila as they denounce more than a century of US control and meddling in the country’s economic, political and military affairs or for as long as freedom was declared. They then held a caravan to the Chinese Consulate in Makati City to protest China’s incursions in the country’s economic and territorial sovereignty,especially in the cases of onerous loans and the ongoing West Philippine sea territorial dispute.
