Metro Manila lists 548 new COVID-19 cases, raising a total of 24,255 active cases and 1,157,811 confirmed cases as of today, February 9, 2022.

According to the Department of Health COVID-19 Tracker, Quezon City records additional 108 new COVID-19 cases today listing a total of 4,993 active cases with 250 new recoveries and 2 deaths today making the city remains at the top with the highest COVID-19 cases in Metro Manila.

Overall, the city listed 242,151 total cases, 234,771 total recoveries and 2,387 total deaths garnering an average of 97.0% recovery rate and 1.0% fatality rate throughout the pandemic.

In the recent report from the Department of Health,  all of the laboratories were operational last February 7. However, there are three (3) laboratories that contributed 0.8% of the sample tested and 0.9% of the positive cases were unable to submit their data in the COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS).

Meanwhile, the country recorded 3,651 new COVID-19 cases raising the total COVID-19 cases at 96,326 with 12,698 new recoveries and 69 deaths today. Overall, the COVID-19 cases listed nationwide reached 3,623,176 cases, 3,472,160 total recoveries and 54,690 deaths ever since the pandemic began.
