Marc Sueselbeck, fiancé of the murdered Filipino transgender woman Jeffrey “Jennifer” Laude in Olongapo City arrived today at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) around 11:00 on board Malaysia Airlines MH289.
Laude’s fiancé will go straight to Olongapo City to visit the wake of the Jennifer and is expected to go back to Germany after the cremation of Laude’s remains on Friday.
Sueselback has been in the country several times where he proposed to Jennifer for a marriage in the country and in Germany. In an interview with Manila Today, Jennifer’s mother Julita Laude said that the Sueselbeck has already been introduced by Jennifer to the family both in Olongapo and in Leyte.
Asked however on to what would be her reaction to Sueselbeck arriving at the wake, she simply said “I still do not know what to do, maybe I will just tell him of what the family feels, and support him whatever he plans.”
Laude’s German fiancé earlier released a statement regarding the demise of Jennifer lambasting the “ongoing discrimination in the Philippines on many kind of groups,” and the country’s “corrupt politicians” which he said does not deserve the respect and rights denied to her fiancé.
