DOH logs 396 new additional cases in Metro Manila, raising a total of 20,923 active cases and 1,162,008 total confirmed cases as of today, February 18, 2022.
In the recent data from the COVID-19 Tracker of the Department of Health, Quezon City continues to lead as the city with the highest confirmed cases in Metro Manila.
The city logs 77 additional coronavirus infections, listing a total of 4,242 active cases as of today. Additionally, in the overall tally, Quezon City records 242,853 total confirmed, 236,203 recoveries, and 2,408 deaths through the entire pandemic, garnering an average of 97.3% recovery rate and 1.0% fatality rate.
In the most recent report from DOH, all laboratories were operational last February 16. However, five (5) laboratories were unable to submit their data to the COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS). These laboratories contribute to 1.0% of the sample tested and 0.9% of the positive cases.
Today, the Philippines records an additional 2,232 COVID-19 cases, 3,010 new recoveries and 79 new deaths. In the overall tally, the country logs a total of 3,648,925 confirmed cases throughout the entire years of the pandemic.
