Metro Manila logs 8,376 new COVID-19 cases with 114,150 active cases listed as of January 19, 2022.

According to the Department of Health COVID-19 Tracker, Quezon City continues to have the highest cases in Metro Manila with 1,835 new cases, listing 228,807 total confirmed cases. Quezon City now has 25, 435 active cases with an 87.9% of recovery rate and 1.6% fatality rate.

In the last report of the Department of Health six laboratories that contributed 1.5% of the sample tested and 1.9% of positive cases were unable to submit their data in the COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS). 

The Philippines now has  270, 728 active cases raising a total of 3,293,625 cases throughout the pandemic.
