In the Department of Health (DOH) July 20 Situation Report posted on July 21, 68 new cases of COVID-19 among health care frontliners were reported.
The total infected among health workers breached the 4,000-mark, now at 4,042. This number represents 6% of the COVID-19 cases in the country, making one out of every 17 COVID-19 cases a health worker.
Of these cases, 752 (18.7%) are active cases.
