64 new COVID-19 cases among health care workers, total at 4,507 as of July 26

The Department of Health (DOH) Situationer Report with data as of July 26 recorded 64 new COVID-19 cases confirmed among health care workers, bringing the total cases to 4,507 or 5.6% of the cases in the country.

There are 62 new active cases among health workers, bringing the total to 1,013. The DOH reported total active cases are at 52,406 with 1,689 added in a day, making the active cases among health care workers 2% of the total active cases.

Two recoveries were also recorded in a day and no new deaths since July 22.

The total of COVID-19 confirmed cases in the county has reached 80,448, but the individuals who have tested positive have reached 113,578. The difference of the DOH-confirmed cases and the number who have tested positive is at 33,130. The DOH also reported 11,483 testing backlogs as of July 26.
