Militant umbrella organization, Bagong Alyansang Makabayan – Metro Manila (Bayan – Metro Manila) stormed the gates of the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) on Tuesday marking the first year since the expose of the Disbursement Acceleration Program (DAP). The group burned a giant garbage can effigy with images of President Benigno Simeon Aquino III and DBM Sec. Florencio Abad, whom they said must be dumped for architecting and defending DAP.
