The Department of Health logs 632 new additional COVID-19 cases, listing the total active cases at 21,464 in Metro Manila as of today February 16, 2022.
Overall, Metro Manila recorded a total of 1,156,271 confirmed cases, 1,123,029 total recoveries, and 11,778 total deaths throughout the pandemic.

Meanwhile, Quezon City reports 114 new cases, listing a total of 4,379 active cases, retaining its status as the city in Metro Manila with the highest coronavirus cases.
The city already has 241,301 total confirmed cases, 234,519 total recoveries, and 2,403 deaths throughout the pandemic, garnering an average of 97.2% recovery rate and 1.0% fatality rate.

In the latest report of the DOH, all laboratories were operational last February 14. However, there are six (6) laboratories that were unable to submit their data in the COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS). Based on the given data, these laboratories contributed to 1.4% of the sample tested and 1.7% of the positive cases.
The Philippines now has a total of 68,829 total active cases; 2,671 new additional cases, 6,130 new recoveries, and 77 new deaths were added today.
The Department of Health reported 3,644,597 total confirmed cases, 3,520,545 total recoveries, and 55,223 total deaths in the country throughout the entire pandemic.
