The Department of Health records 392 new cases in Metro Manila, listing a total of 20,739 active cases, 543 new recoveries, and 14 deaths as of today, February 19, 2022.

Overall, Metro Manila logs a total of 1,162,381 confirmed cases, 1,129,831 total recoveries, and 11,811 deaths throughout the entire year of pandemic.

Meanwhile, Quezon City remains as the top city with the highest cases of COVID-19 in Metro Manila with 4, 195 active cases; 67 new cases were added today with 82 new recoveries and 2 deaths.

The city now has 242,890 total confirmed cases, 236,285 total recoveries and 2,410 total deaths throughout the pandemic, garnering an average of 97.3% recovery rate and 1.0% fatality rate.

DOH reported that all laboratories were operational last February 17. However, there are six (6) laboratories that contributed to the 0.8% of the sample tested and 0.4% of the positive cases were unable to submit their data in CDRS.

Today, the Philippines logs 1,923 additional cases, with 5,158 new recoveries and 193 new deaths. Overall, the country records a total of 62,533 active cases and a total of 3,650,748 confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic.
