As of 4 PM today, COVID-19 cases in the country reached 494,605. Of the total cases, 21,771 (85.0%) are exhibiting mild symptoms and 1,331 (5.2%) are in critical condition.

Here is the breakdown of the total cases

Currently, there are 25,614 (4.5%) active cases with 1,912 new cases added to the tally.

With the 746 new recoveries, a total of 459,252 (93.6%) have now been recovered.

Also, a total of 9, 739 (1.92%) have died with 40 new accounted deaths.

In its daily tally, the DOH reported only 1,323 out of 22,984 tested positive, with a 5.8% positivity rate for January 13.

Based on the COVID-19 Case Tracker, National Capital Region remains to be on top of the total number of confirmed cases. Davao City, Quezon City, Agusan del Sur, Dagupan City, and the Cavite recorded the highest number of cases for today. There is a consistent delay in reports of data from testing laboratories. 167 out of 193 testing laboratories submitted their reports for January 13.
